Inilah tempat-tempat yang wajib dikunjungi di Garut:
- Papandayan, ada beberapa tempat menarik di sini, di antaranya yaitu: curug Orok, Kawah Papandayan, dan Situs Ciburuy.
- Drajat, merupakan kawah Darajat, terletak di antara Kecamatan Samarang dan Pasirwangi.
- Ngamplang, tempat yang bisa dilihat di sini adalah: Curug Cihanyawar, Perkebunan Teh Dayeuh Manggung.
- Makam Godog, di sini ada makam keramat Cinunuk, Makan Keramat Godog, Makan Linggaratu, Talaga Bodas.
- Cipanas, obyek wisata yang bisa dilihat di sini, di antaranya: Gunung Guntur, dan Kolam Renang Cipanas.
- Cangkuang -> Catatan perjalanan, klik di sini.
- Ranca Buaya, obyek wisata yang bisa dilihat di sini di antaranya: Arung jeram sungai Cikandang, Curug Sanghiyang Taraje, Pantai Cijayana, Pantai Ranca Buaya.
- Sancang, merupakan kawasan hutan lindung, Leuweung Sancang, Pantai Cijeruk Indah, dan Pantai Karang Paranje.
- Pamengpeuk, tempat wisata menarik di sini di antaranya: Curug Neglasari, Kampung Dukuh, Pantai Manulusu, Pantai Pasir Putih Gunung Geder, Pantai Sayang Heulang, Pantai Santolo.
- Situ Bagendit, merupakan wisata danau dengan latar belakang panorama alam pegunungan yang indah. Kegiatan yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan rakit ke tengah danau, bermain sepeda air, canoe dan memancing.
- Pantai Santolo, merupakan tempat wisata dengan panorama pantai, terletak di Kec. Cikelet, sebelah selatan pusat kota Garut, jarak tempuh dalam waktu 3,5 jam perjalanan atau sekitar 88 km.
